How We Do What We Do…

We are very lucky to have a purpose built studio in the grounds of our home. It’s big enough to run two full time businesses from (Supplies For Life and Bread & Jam) and store the vast majority of supplies we need to design, make and fulfill our customers orders. We have a dispatch area, organised rear wall storage, a sewing area, two work benches (one clean and one for Jamie!). We have our personal desk spaces which face each other so we can smile at each other when when have tricky days. It’s an ever evolving space, which allows us reconfigure and adjust when the need arises.

We also have a woodwork shop about 30 paces away, which houses all the equipment we need to make our wooden pieces. It’s also where we store our local hardwood stock.

As you can see, we like to blend our home life with our work life when we can and weather allows, even running the numbers past our chickens! Christmas can be extremely busy and we make sure we are stream lined at this point of the year, mainly due to having people in the studio to help us out with stock making and order processing.

On the whole, it’s a vibrant and happy place to work, even in the most stressful of times.
